It’s in his DNA.

David Nii Armah has found his calling as a DJ, business owner, and above all, an entertainer. To understand how his calling found him we have to travel down to Ghana on the west coast of Africa. There, his father had been spinning turntables long before him as the owner of a nightclub. As his father would soon find out, the entrepreneurial gene ran in the family. Being raised in a Ghanaian household, David grew up with the driving bass of Afrobeats blasting through subwoofers. David got his start with gigs on Friday nights at his parents’ restaurant. Although he may have been young, DJ DNA was known for his ability to feel out a crowd, create an atmosphere and inject fun into any situation. Ten years from the inception of his journey, David is once again delving into the deepest parts of his entrepreneurial personality to start his own business as the co-founder of Bold Productions. As he works to make his dreams a reality you can find him spending time with his family, enjoying a game of FIFA, or making the people around him happy. While there is no sure path to success in entertainment, David continues to carve out his own as he teams up with his partner Matt to bring entertainment to family and strangers alike.

I got married in 2024 and being that you are reading this, I completely understand what you are thinking. How do I trust this guy who claims to be the one of the best New Jersey wedding DJs? I trusted my wedding vendors and that is what I want my couples to experience for themselves. Walking in to the ballroom and having full faith with who is on stage.

Bold was built on the foundation of one promise. No one else DJ’s at weddings except Dave or myself. Why? Well, it’s the same reason why you are reading this page. It’s hard to find trustworthy people, both in normal life, and the event’s industry is no different. While we have the equipment and the crew to be in more than one place at the same time, we choose to remove that variable. We oversee the standard delivered at every single wedding, because this moment is once is a lifetime.

I have a bachelor’s in civil engineering. I wasn’t the best student but my biggest takeaway is that the small details is what makes the big picture. Everything from making sure our production equipment is set up elegantly to timing the grand introductions with your guests cheering for you from the top of their lungs as you walk into the ballroom. I believe in that 100% perfect is the only acceptable result. Your timeline, your music choice, having a packed dance floor, and creating the best experience possible is the mission every single time.

This is personal and I get that. As your wedding DJ my job will be to rock the dance floor, hit all my cues in your timeline, and coordinate with your vendors to make sure you have the best night of your life. I am looking forward to the opportunity to gain your trust and be a part of your wedding day celebration.
